Hi i have a vl turbo diff that i am converting over to fit my lc but want to keep my 14' sprintmasters.
If i got blank vl disks then got them re drilled for torana stud pattern will the calipars clear the wheels.

Or is their a better setup i can use for the rear while keeping my sprintmasters.

On the front i have lx disks and calipars.

Cheers

If I had a sprintmaster wheel here I'd try it on a diff and confirm
However I don't
I have seen Commodore brakes under 14" wheels before so I assume it should fit
Depends however on the clearance inside the rim
Till you try it you'll never know

Damn datto i want a piece of that golden ass :P
Are u sure there 14inch sprintmasters?
N i always thought the Vl turbos had 15inch wheels disc brake rear end carried over to vn which use's a 15inch wheel! Could be wrong..
Cheers

Yes VLT was 15"
VN had 14" unless it was V8 or specced with FE2 suspension so I know the brakes fit under a 14 on a commodore. VB-VS non IRS shared the same caliper and disc so all same there.
In theory as a commodore runs a front wheel drive offset of (approx) +43mm a torana with a (guessing) +6 offset should have enough wheel clearance for the caliper
But until its actually tried in real life its still just a guess (assumption)

They are 14' sprintmasters, After doing some research you are correct dattoman some Vn's Came out with 14' steel wheels.
A friend was saying the 14' steel wheels fit but not 14' mags as the 14' steel wheels have more clearance.

I will have to try and see if they clear, Hopefully they do as i like the sprintmasters.. :D
