Custom door trims!

Had a look at my trims today and i dont think they will suit my torana anymore.... i am thinking about reskinning them with black velour to match my roof lining... and haveing some flames. and eliminate the arm rests (there always breaking so im happy to get rid of them)
im sure heaps of you guys have done something similar to this before, just want to know how you did it, did you use underlay, what glue? tips ect, and LC boi how do you do the writing, saw some trims of yours with FORD on them, kinda want mine like that but with flames and less pimping material
i have peeled all the old skins off.... the MDF looks alright, so wont need new ones
