My LX hatch radio face plate is bent like a bananna, what is the best way to straighten it?

Leave it for another 30 years in a situation that allows it to bend back. Like glovebox lids, unfortunately they bend and you can't save them. You may get it back a little with some heat and something like a large vice with some protection, but having tried that it wasn't successful.

Regards to radio facia, is this the one in your consol or lower dash.
