lc lj consoles differences?

...did the lc consoles have a vinyl cover over the plastic...and...

can someone give me a detailed rundown with pics if possible of the different styles from lc thu lj..grains,shift holes etc.

except late LC GTR's fitted with 173 block and m20 (m21?) gearbox had the same LJ type plastic one with roebuckish grain.

July 1971, i think.

The vinyl one was designed for opel gearboxes and has a smaller shift-hole, slightly off center. The plastic one has a larger hole in the middle designed for the more central m2x shifter.
