All going well, I would love to attend again this year.

Thanks Al. I didn't publicise it much, but yes I was humbled by the award, and didn't see it coming. I'm in the company of some fellows that I personally hold in very high regard, none more than the originator of the award, Mr Doug Macgregor who gave me heaps of support, who sadly passed away in the past year. He was a great fellow, and I was privelidged enough to see him off.

Pat.

PS. Sorry for the delayed response, I've been in Nowra all week hanging with LXChev366.

Hi Patrick, shame about the clutch on your UC, bummer mate. At least you can make it :)

If things go as planned we will be in our usual spot up the back under the shade of the trees :)

You will easily find us.

edit... Mine wont be at its best for this display, a number of parts have been removed or not yet added and I am experimenting with some paint on the inlet manifold so right now its two colours and patchy lol but look past that and its going to be ok.

Cheers

Bah! I would probably go but I'm in the middle of replacing the donut on the steering shaft on the LX and can't get the lowest cotter pin out. I can't stop it flexing when I smack it with the hammer and don't want to hit it too hard in case I damage the rack. Anyone got any ideas I can try tomorrow?

its not so much a clutch issue, more so an issue regarding the lack of engine lol. (unless that comment was reffering to yellow slur, who i also beleive goes by the same name as me? if so my mistake, just ignore this uslesly long post explaining the situation and explaining my un-certinty etc etc etc)

Prop the shaft up with a chunk of wood or something that wont move when you tap the cotter pin out. Don't hit the cotter pin without support, it wont do the rack any good.

Guys if the weather is the same in the morning as what we have now then I probably wont be attending Marques in the Park this year.

I will be up early and check though in case its cleared up.

My arthritis gives me enough grief now without me standing around in a damp/wet paddock all day :)

Cheers

Mmm, interesting, but still enjoyable day. My Torrie was parked on it's own early till the rest of the crew turned up. I was working in the tent with the Council preparing breakfast.

A good, damp, then sunny, then damp, then sunny, then da.... <you get the picture>.

Don't know if there were any club photos taken, I was busy running round all day. The new AV system in the Pie Cart is fantastic. I stuck my Bathurst video's on it, and we had a crowd for most of the day.

Trevor and I ended up traveling home amidst a HSV Club of sorts www.clubcommodore.com. That was interesting.
