VK Salisbury disc diff into LX

Is the above mentioned diff to long to fit into a LX Torana. I can get a VK Brock Director disc diff for niks, so was wondering how the length will shape up against a standard LX diff :rockon:

LX rear track: approx 1377 MM ( I've heard a couple of different measurements ).
VK rear track ( Salisbury diff ) 1414 MM.
VK rear track ( BW diff ) : 1440 MM.

Hi, Chopper, Are you talking diff length or centre of rear tyre to centre of rear tyre, when you talk of "track".
If you are talking diff length, then a VK Salisbury fitted with Torana diff mounting brackets and when fitted to the car with Commodore wheels ( being dished inwards) should all fit??????

ive heard a VL diff is the same length .Not to sure though

Track is centre of rim to centre of rim. Obviously those measurements were with 13x5.5" Torana rim for LX track and 14 or 15x6" Commodore rim for VK track. VL rear track is the same as the VK with the BW diff.
