G'day all

well having thought long and hard about it, I have decided to return the interior back to it's original colour. That being chamios..
Now, to achieve this, I will need some help and guidance from you all. Firstly I have had a look at what I need and the following is what I require in the chamios trim;

Headlining
Sunvisors.
Front Seat covers
Rear Seat Covers
Centre Hinge cover
Front Door Trims
Door Vinyl Trims
Rear Quarter Trims
Centre Pillar Vinyl Trim
Rear Quarter Lower Vinyl Trims
Rear Compartment Side Trims
Rear Cargo Trim Plates
Front Kick Panels
Front Arm Rests
Rear Arm Rests
Windlace

From what I have been told so far, Eastern Auto will/ can do the Seat covers/ door trims. (Does anyone else?)

I know that Boomfunk can do the Vinyl Trim pieces (mate, can you PM me a price?).

That leaves the Headlining, Sunvisors, Armrests and Windlace to go...

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it

cheers
Mick

waiting on a price for the chamois per meter....

we can do-

Centre Hinge cover
Door top Vinyls
Rear Quarter top vinyls
Centre Pillar Vinyl Trim
Rear Quarter Lower Vinyl Trims
Rear Compartment Side Trims
Rear Cargo Trim Plates

and kick panels...i suggest you paint them or wait till you see some good ones come up on ebay..we sell black

To add to that can you recover you rear cargo trim plates and side trims(the trims with the lights and vent)?

If you can i will sell you the vinyl to do it...if not doesnt matter as we sell them also ready to fit

This supplier is a diff 1 to the ones i usually use as everyone is out of the chamois nylex...copy chamois 1000's of meters but not the original

They have it..just have to wait for a price

Mick, I have just done the chamois interior in my hatch to SS specs. The front seats I got done at eastern, they cost me $925 ( $1850 for front and back )
The door trims are $770 a set from eastern and they have all the corect vinyls.
I got my door trims from rare spares ( $570 at set ) but its been 6 months and I'm still waiting, eastern have a 2 month wait. I have 2 meters of chamois golf ball that I was going to use to re-trim the inserts on my back seat. I might consider selling it as, I might still get eastern to do my back seat. All the rest of bthe vinyls and carpet I got from Glenn, He does awesome work !!!! I think I got the last of his chamois nylex :D
Hope this helps, Dan

btw, did you get my pm about the SS stipes

Dan,

Why didnt they use the golfball that you have for the fronts?, didnt they or you want to..and would it have been cheaper if you supplied the golfball

If you get a decent set of sunvisors you can run a thin layer of chamois paint over them and they come up great
