High Octane Fuels

SInce I currently run 10:1 comp it happily runs on Vortex with no issues
However I plan to up the comp to around 11.5-12:1 soon
I'm trying to find a fuel that will run the comp but not ruin the budget
VP103 was my first choice but at $125 for 20L I thought over $6 litre was abit rich
Its supposed to be a great fuel and with 107 octane it will do the job
There must be other alternatives though for around half the cost
Now I don't want to run a leaded fuel as I need a fuel passbook to do this. The car is CAMS log booked so I could get a passbook so I can run Avgas. And I have people at the airport who would happily give me as much as I need for free. But I don't want to go this way
I also don't want to be mixing fuel concoctions like toluene or octane boosters. I want a consistant out of the drum fuel thats the same all year round.
What other legal options are there?

I thought it was a huge fine "if" caught, if you can get unlimited free fuel, why wouldn't you do that method? or did I perhaps misunderstand this statement.

I know they make special high octane blends for turbos.
You might have to google or search around.I know they had a distributor in Aust because i ran some before in a Go Kart when i raced.
It comes in 20L drums and not sure of the current price.

if you go methanol just remember to pull the carby down and give it a bloody good clean when ya finished your racing. I use to slack off after a speedway meet with the hubby and have a good sleep instead of cleaning up the bike only to find in the morning the methanol had turned to glue.Methanol - $195 for 205 Litres.
Saw it advertised in a book somewhere.

he also said that some of the super street guys had gone from c112 to this and not lost anything. i dont know about cams but andra is or has banned leaded from this season. we went alchol any way as its real cheap. like the other member was saying, get it out of ya carby. we just run it with the fuel off till it dies.

I did plan to build the engine once with 14.4:1 comp and run meth but decided against it
I'll be looking around to see what else I can find
Be next season before I need it anyway
Thanks for the replys
