Self tapper the switch part to the rad support or so,
I think the brand was ICE and cost about $40
Cheers

The VN on commo ones would not be any good as they are just a tamp sensor and it is the ECU which turns the fans on so you could use the VN temp probe but you have no way of telling the fans when to turn on and off.
You can use that style of sensor and make an electric circuit ( 2 comparitors driving a relay) to switch the fans on and off as required but a but of stuffing around.
Hi-rpm,
If there is a device off the shelf which does this all in 1 unit or kit, I would be interrested to know.

I've put it in now and no-leaks. Seams to all work pretty good.

Mines never had that Had to resort to using silastic around the copper and letting it set, then when the hose is bolted on it squashes down and works similar to the rubber, just takes a bit of farking about to get rightI got the thermo switch you are talking about. There is a little bit of rubber in the kit, looks like a double-sided door wedge with a groove in the middle. That takes the sensor wire as it comes out of the top radiator hose to give a perfect seal. I found out the hard way what it was for (read leaked like a sieve).
