Dave I`ll probably open a can of worms with this comment ,but I was told that the 5mm spokes were from the models prior to the adr changes in October 72.After that they had the 3mm so they would "give" in the event of an accident.
I`m now running for cover

As far as I knew the thick spokes were on all the toranas including A9X, I don't know where the thin wheels fit in but thwy were factory fitment for at least one model (monaro?).

I just knew A9X's had the thick spokes and (so I thought) all LJ GTR's and XU1's - can't remember if the UC SLE had the thick spokes on the beige GTS-type wheel though... :D

Dave,
I have a 5/72 XU-1 and it has rear belts fitted so the launch for the LJ was March you would have to think all LJ`s had them fitted <_<

Dave...
you have Adelaide seat belts in the front and Brisvegas belts in the rear..
Simple!
Not sure exactly when rear belts appeard as standard fitment...But my LC XU-1 8/70 doesn't have them.
Dr Terry wouyld be your best bet there...

Cheers Greg..
