im also thinkin bout gettin some macdonald bros adjustable top trailing arms so i can play around with the pinion angle and get 100% right.

Not sure on lc/j's but in another thread the mcdonalds bottom out on the torana mounts,apparently they suit hq mounts...seems the whiteline ones are the go.

Think im guna hold on to the six for the time being still havent 100% decided wat i wana do with it yet lol.


Bet it has a sweet note too.

265 under the rear ... goes to show with a bit of enginuity you can, fit the fat ...

bit of an update installed a hoppers kit to the front and installed hd pedders springs and 90/10 shocks
installed convo pros on the front. drove round the block a few times to test out new diff n brakes and pulled the motor out to refresh, fix a oil leak.

o i also installed half cage n just recently picked up another turbo 202 motor witch has a bigger intake manifold, better nick turbo and 3 inch dump witch im swappin onto my original motor.
bigger intake also came with fuel injection rail. also rerun the engin bay wireing under the dash and guards moved battery in the boot removed the ugly broken heater and repainted the bay and thats were im at all thats left to do is finnish swapin the manifolds n bits over finish the wiring and put the motor back in.also done all of this round the side of my house so stuff all room

whats the take off like with the 3.70 diff still think you need the V8

got the motor in feels alot stronger then eva definately beta with the bigger manifold and dump n finally got around to putting a decent throttle bracket and fuel line and gauge on. ive completed the wireing and ran the wires under the guards and the battery is now in the boot. just need an exhaust made frome the dump bake n couple other small things n will b on the road again.

update time flys took it to ingham car show,first event in a couple of years, got an exhaust 3" mandrell bent sounds good then the turbo shat itself so gave it a go n rebuilt it myself.entered it into the all holden day and managed to win top modified hb-lj torry so happy with that!!! and recently added a catch take to stop the roker breather sucking into the intake.

They looked at my tyre plackard and said my tires are to big. Air filter out the bonnet, and had no mod plate for the cage witch I have got now. I deregisted it cause I only had 2 weeks to fix so I'm in the process of getting a rwc. So just a couple of rwc things left to fix.

You have a tyre plackard? Mines long gone......

 

Tough break though man, probably if it wasnt for the filter out the bonnet you wouldnt have even been pinged sadly.

Yea it was actually a rbt set up. And the filter was the first thing they saw lol

Bad luck mate. 

 

If they spent half the time they do chasing shiny things on looking for lights out or bald tyres #@$^%& suspension etc the world would be a safer place....But they would get less revenue....
