Is that to meet demand or because they are better?

Im not sure what your referring to?

Triple core, in my experience hasnt mattered too much between 56mm dual core or triple, but its nice on paper and caters for everyone. Triple pass is certainly a benefit. there is a little bit of difference in price for me to buy cores that are dual or triple and single vs triple pass, its somthing im willing to absorb so I know everything that leave our factory is the best it can be.

Can anyone confirm the HQ rads will fit the later model torries?

cheers

They will fit, I am currently running one (am going to buy one of yours sooner than later, need to get finances back in order) BUT the front wing has to be trimmed back haven't measured it exactly but it looks visually to be around 8 to 10mm that I have left for support. Not sure what I cut off but more than 10mm from memory, by doing this one doesn't have to hack into the chassis anywhere. Mine is a 77 LX sedan. I wont swear that my mounting points have not been changed as the mods were done prior to me getting the car. My mod consisted of trimming that front wing.

I am not having a go at you Nathan but.....

My experience with triple pass radiators is that they are fine at low engine speeds but rev them up and the water pump has a lot more work to do to drag water through the core 3x and this brings on cavitation, particularly with 308 water pumps.

Personally I wouldn't buy a dual or triple pass radiator.

Its the unfortunate thing about being a small company and not being able to cater for everyone. At the end of the day I have to cater for the masses and id rather have someone leave with a triple pass radiator for $550 ish than a single pass for the ame money that may not cool the car. At $550 you are left with enough change to upgrade the water pump amongst other things to ensure an all round upgrade compared to if you shopped at one of my competitors and payed double that for just the radiator.

This is all irrelevant with the Torry radiators as they are a downflow radiator and it is impossible to make them triple pass..

cheers
