did the LJ 4 door come out with armrests in the back doors or just the front? my LJ only has two in the front. thanks

Just looking at my Gregory's manual in the section about rear door assembly it says "On SL models remove the arm rest". So it appears that the "lower" models had none.
On the other hand - sometimes when doors are retrimmed, the retrimmer doesn't always make holes in the door vinyl because the owner doesn't always want arm rests or ashtrays.

my s model had armrests when bought, it was orig so maybe was an option??? waste of money if you ask me but oh well

My LJ SL definatley has the rear ones... I would have to have a look at the LJ S, but its not close. I think it might have had them... its a late 73 model.

mine dosent have any...was to lazy to put them back on. plus the doors are off a lc s....
