I assume you're talking about an older mIRC channel? Because there was an mIRC that was still in regular use back around mid 2006. I would barely know Oldn64 if it weren't for that. I believe it still exists; don't know how much it gets used though.

I still have an order from Yiri in Feb 03 for the first set of lenses I did.
And one even earlier in Oct 02 which I think was that same batch.

This was about the third reincarnation of Tim's dream of one place for us all to meet and share our knowledge and experiences.

I'm sure it's ten years soonish..........

I realised a little while ago that he was no longer signed up on these forums. I would assume that was because of the turkish hacker thing and we didn't sign everyone back up or something?

mIRC #GMH-Torana started on Oz.org but because Tim couldnt get that server at work it changed to Austnet then when the Austnet servers shat themselves we went back to Oz.org and are now back on Austnet where ToranaJudd took over as the channel owner. Looking over the logs it was somewhere around Oct 2003 when Judd took over

As for the original name, wasnt it holdentorana on Ezboards?
There used to be someone going by the name "fangs kaputnick" who used to try stirring shit. I have a txt file of some of it.

hey man the most common mestake wif gas motors is ign timing,dissy advanse,and cam timin,if u have built the 253 did u degree the cam corectly,a retardad cam will kill tork,also get your dissy spun up to suit your motor,with gas u need a faster advaanse all this will cost ya is around $40.00 witch is much cheeper than the $1500-$2000 that agent orange suggested,unlike him i dont git paid to sugest certain compnys,do it urself an save cash,if yer gonna waste that sort of money u mite as well put a 308 init........rrrrrrttttttt....gee that stinks...

Grants pretty much covered it but it was a couple of years before Judges death the 'sites' before this forum were more bulliten boards than anything and nothing like the current forums we know today. And no where near the wealth of knowledge that we so easily take for granted now.

I think you are confusing Todd with Troy as he was the one that used to disappear then reappear. Todd never had a torana forum.
