It will still pull a priest off a choir boy

PHAHAHAHHAA never heard that one mate! good call. I agree a Boss would be very desirable, but I'm sure the XP doesn't weigh too much, so it'll still go awesome.

I thought you said you were going a green colour? If you want me to photoshop some Globes on there for ya, PM me.

I bought some new shocks for the XP today, new springs and spring saddles tomorrow. By god the shocks are tiny! When it grows up, it wants to be a BA shock absorber.

Very cool, XP's are my favourite classic Fords, I'd own one.

There's a fair few beautifully restored XM/XP's around Brisbane and out cruising, cool to see cars like that still around.

Yep they certainly do have their own website... BUT... Sourbastard obviously thinks that we would appreciate his build, and sofar he;s been right!!

Weve always tried to keep this a fairly open forum even though it will always be dedicated to the mighty torana i dont see any drama with enjoying other makes models and brands.

I dont think a rotary buildup would last long here though... HAHAH!!

Only posting in my "advocate" role above. Id love an old customline or tbird or mercury, but where do we rule the line, would it be okay for me to start a thread on the rebuild on my victa?

Surely this forum is not going to be so close minded that everything has to be about Toranas? As much as l love them, how Boring

We cant be to close minded since 2 of the Admins dont have toranas (Sorry Tiny I was classing the Torana as Simmos) and both drive frauds. glares at Daggy :P
On the old forum we are all interested in Tiny & Jabba's HQ's build ups and downs. :)

Heres a big update

Diff and springs and shocks are in, however shocks will need to be reconditioned as one is 30mm lower then the other.

Heres a pic with one of the globes attached

Also scored an edelbrock torker manifold for 100 bucks at a swap meet

And I also got some mustang heads for 50 bucks so I stuck em all together and hey presto

heheh thankfully the people on this forum are open minded tinks! I know i dont have a torry.. ( even though it was my money... your right.. its not mine!)...

if they werent so open minded i'd have to start banning those who didnt agree with me ;) MUAHAHAHAHA

But no.. in all seriousness its great to have a group of people who enjoy a common love of teh torana, but are equally as impressed with great cars no matter what they are!

Sourbastard: Looks like your getting through it a bit mate! Good stuff!!

Cheers!

A few additions to the engine side of things, a 650 spreadbore holley double pumper, and a set of advance headers.
