Finally it is up and running, all electricals are wired, chrome work done, brake and brake lines done, new fuel tank fitted, wheels and tyres are fitted, new exhaust fitted .... just need to complete install of interior, glass, inside rear metal work.. so really not much....
Look out 2010... the FJ will be finished......
I will post some more progress shots soon

That car is magic.I bet a lot of its trophies were for top paint and top murals.This was an absolutely top shelf car in the early 80s.
They are Frank Lee murals from memory.
Im so glad its still around and in good order.

yes..paint now has about 10 chips in it... hopefully this will be fixed and the ute will be soon cut and polished

i worked with frank lee back in the 80s at graham watson smash at asquith.. i belive hes still alive and doing what he does best
he did a mural on the tank of my suzuki GT 750....

Not much has really happened.. but I suppose this biggest thing is that the UTE if finally drivable... yes you read correct DRIVABLE.....
still need to install glass, chrome work, interior and rear plating...and about a dozen small things..
Engineer has been sorted and hopefully by October on the road....
I will post some more shots once we do interior and chrome work
