That is a great ute. The back tyres and mural are so '80's!!

Is it going to see the road again soon?

Unreal that it's been sitting that long! Looks like a nice garage

Been a long time since we posted anything about the FJ..With the year we have had it has been a slow process getting things done.....

Finally it is up and running, all electricals are wired, chrome work done, brake and brake lines done, new fuel tank fitted, wheels and tyres are fitted, new exhaust fitted .... just need to complete install of interior, glass, inside rear metal work.. so really not much....

Look out 2010... the FJ will be finished......

I will post some more progress shots soon

Wayne

That car is magic.I bet a lot of its trophies were for top paint and top murals. This was an absolutely top shelf car in the early 80s.
They are Frank Lee murals from memory.
Im so glad its still around and in good order.

Sorry for the thread steal,Wayne.Posted Image

Been awhile since I posted anything about the ute, so heres the update....

Not much has really happened.. but I suppose this biggest thing is that the UTE if finally drivable... yes you read correct DRIVABLE.....

still need to install glass, chrome work, interior and rear plating...and about a dozen small things..

Engineer has been sorted and hopefully by October on the road....

I will post some more shots once we do interior and chrome work
