You have to be spot on with the measurements. I had a go at mine myself and I'm not 100% happy with the result.

Shouldnt one of those be on the other side of the carYou have to be spot on with the measurements. I had a go at mine myself and I'm not 100% happy with the result.

are you using real ones, or those shitty flat bits in tin with slots? If you use doddy ones you have the bend them to fit the bow in the guard. To hard , the orig ones are easy as. I can send pics of Fregs guard with measurments. Send your email address of pics.

Seriously I would like to know the dimensions myself as I will be doing the same to my "S". You could work it out in "The ball park" with the pic provided but I would rather measure a real one. I have asked this Q before on the old forum with no reply.

Here's a pic of mine, they are factory original never been out.
Everything was measured in imperial then so 2" is 50.8 & 4" is 101.6
