I will be watching closely for details on the cruise as I will do all I can to have the Torana out on that event and not rock up in the bombadore.
If I can get the front end sorted out, I would also like to make it to the Eastern Creek event, fingers crossed. I am still trying to convince Sonia in letting me take the SS down the 1/4 in it's place.

Halil: I'm trying to find the business card of my mate in Kogarah for you, but this house is a shambles at the moment!
Mark at EZE-10s is in St Marys, his number is :9623 2416 - At the Workshop.
I'll get the other number for you ASAP!
Once again thanks to everyone who came out for the day, Even though it was bloody cold and threatening to rain it was a top afternoon!

Thanks mate...yep its at WP and I normally race it 6 times a year with the NSW State Motor Racing series with the Improved Production Racing Assoc. I'm having a year off at the mo...I am rebuilding the engine. I won my class in 06 and 07 so I achieved my aims with the car.nice race car LXchev366! is that photo taken at Wakefield park? how often do you race it?
The car has a Chev 350 stroked out to 366 which = 6 Litre, with a Tremec TKO600 5 Speed box and Ford 9 inch full spool 3.7:1 diff etc...

Hope to hear some more about this cruise, and out of curiosity, who is organising this one?
As for the Drag night, I will have to convince the one who gave birth to me that i wont bend a car going in a straight line (she has this weird phobia of it all....) but even if i dont bring the torana, i will be there (like i was at the last one) for a looksie.
On a side note, no one came to the swap at gossy today? I was there until lunch time, then we packed up (in the rain!) and went home.
Felt/feel like shit though, got to bed at 1.30, was up at 5ish to head in.
Whens the next meet and greet!

On the last couple of meetings with forum members the subject of axles seems comes up, go figure . I thought I would post up some photos of the offending items for anyone interested.

Yeah looks like I got the dropsaw onto them. The guy from the diff shop told me that axles usually shatter and axle tramp is usually the cause. I didn't experience any axle tramp and they snapped after the 60' mark as I started to feed the power in 2nd gear. The first pass probably twisted them badly and the second pass was just the proverbial straw.hehe Gee those axles look so neatly "shortnened"!
I hope i never have to find out what that feels like mate!
Cars, got to love 'em
