This is how the car really looks.

I saw this car at Tfest, and really liked what they did with the lights

They don't look so bad with negative space either side of the number plate and the light chop would be dead easy? Even something like a VH light with louvre shape.

Maybe the lights are just to wide. I've narrowed the lights and shortened them slightly.
What do you think?
I think the owner of that car should hurry up and paint the front of the effing POS !! Oh, and he should stop posting lame arse burnout videos on youtube

I really like the look of downsized UC lights. Or perhaps something similar in LED.
Original

Smaller

Thinner

What about the round ones. Mmmmm Donuts.

Well That's my effort for today.

The 'smaller' ones could be very cool, but it isn't exactly a simple thing to just 'shrink' the lights lol

The round ones just look like a 240k rip off, but not a nice one :( I don't think round tail lights suit any Torana

I like the round ones but they would need to be dark and only light up when used.
The small narrow ones are my favourite though and you are completely right when you say it's no easy task to just shrink them.
Maybe square LED's?

Why can't similar illusion tricks be used on the rear of a UC?
Paint the rear bumper the body colour of the car, make the lights all one colour and maybe intigrate a spoiler somehow? Maybe fibreglass it flush.
Maybe relocate the numberplate as well? Can anyone else see the similarities?

And oh my god that Eleanor would be sexy if they didn't f*ck it with the nigger wheels.
EDIT: Here is one how it's supposed to look for reference sake.

The body shape is pretty damn different around there though! Ignoring a lot of obvious other factors, the fact that the sides don't curve around on the Stang makes a big difference!

Yeah, I get they are different, but you can also see the similarities.
Anyone got a pic of a UC hatch + Rear Spoiler? I just wanna see if whats in my head is similar to reality.

I'll try to when i get a chance.
Colour coded bumper, one colour lights (maybe try then a touch thinner), maybe relocate the numberplate, and maybe incorporate some GT stripes...

I'd love to just try and see if it was at all possible! LOL!
This brings me to another question. i wonder if fibreglassing a lip to the lights would help them look more recessed. This is the frame that holds the Shelby Lights

Also, i wonder how different the sizes are? Could that panel fit to a torana? would it make it look 'too mustang'?

But seriously I have been giving this a bit of thought and I have come to the following conclusions :
1. Existing lights are just too big and aren't moulded into the body work.
2. Lights do not need to wrap around the side.
3. Round lights look like crap.
4. Finding suitable replacements is gonna be pretty hard.
