I am just looking at the rear shocks of my uc they need replacing. i popped out the grommets in the top of the towers and wondered what tool would you use to undo the nuts. i thought you wouyld need a really offset ring spanner to access them no too sure.

hey
use an 11/16 socket with an extension bar, and a ratchet (or just a socket bar)
gotta hold the shockie so it doesnt spin around, if u have a long arm u dont need a helper

Cheers! now all i have to do is find a good pair of shockies. i dont know whether to just go thru a car parts retailer like repco or go a through a suspension mob.

im sure you could buy a standard pair from supercheap auto for a good price. or if you live in brizzy give the torana shop a call for good second ones if your on a budget.
