Sorry but a bit off topic. But, i remember hearing about people using Volvo brakes, I walked past an old volvo (must have been early 80's i'd think) that had 2 (might have been 4 pot, didnt look on the other side, calipers. I was looking into sort-of copying the hoppers kit (au calipers, dba disks), but wondered if there is a good 2/4pot volvo caliper and disk that can be adapted without too much trouble. Problem is that i want to keep my wheels (standard LH-LX stud pattern). And thought getting calipers (maybe disks too) from the wreckers would be cheaper than the $1300 hoppers kit. I could easily make the braket like the hoppers kit. Anybody have any views/opinion? Any help would be appreciated.
Craig
PS My wheels are 15x7 with 185/60 tyres

Datto's mentioned Volvo 4-pots at several times I think. He'll probably be the only person you'll be getting any info out of so you may as well just PM him if he doesn't reply in here :P
