Hey guys,

Its that time again, time for the anual Eastside Cruisers Dromana Drive in Night. This year it is a combined run with the EH Car Club and Southern Street Machiners.

WHEN: SAT 25th OCTOBER
MEET: The stamford, Rowville at 3.30pm departing 4pm SHARP!

cruising down thru dandenong and onto dandy frankston road where we will have another regroup spot, this will be around 4.30pm. then heading off down thru mornington and onto the drive ins for dinner at the diner!!

we havent had this run for two years so lets make this one a big turnout!! we had 55 cars last time around lets see if we can break that record.

Prices will be announced in the next week or so. we will be given a discount just got to work out how many are attending before we find out. and movies should be available to check from the dromana drive in website in the next few days.

so can i get a show of whos interested in coming for a cruise??

for anymore info please contact me Deb (EHGIRL) at [email protected] or on 0409 251 582

** movies and prices will be confirmed in next couple of days so stay tuned **

No we dont stay down there, but yes there is plenty of places to stay. There is a caravan park right next door to the drive ins.

Not sure on a name, but im sure if you googled accomodation in dromana or even give the drive in a call and suss out from them where to stay.

ok just in

movies are 99% set, they still could change.

there are only two screens going, so they are classified as single movies and not what you would normally class as pay for one get the other free. it all comes down to how they drive in gets charged to show the movies.

MOVIES

7.45 1st session
Eagle Eye or Walle or Journey to the centre of the earth. (not set in concrete about the family movie)

9.45 2nd session
Max Payne or Babylon AD

Prices:

For one movie only $28 for a car with 2 people. Extra people $6 each (kids up to 11yo $4)
For two movies $28 for a car with 2 people. Extra people $6 each (kids up to 11yo FREE)

The pricing is as best we can get it as i mentioned the third screen was damages in a storm so they are running only two screens and this effects what they can run and for how much.

well guys i hope that helps.

the only other update was our second meet point will now be meeting at 4.30pm at the group of shops on dandenong frankston road.
On your way to frankston, just after pulling onto dandy frankston road, you will see the sign for fantastic furniture, go past this group of shops which will have shops such as keeki, then just after you see the sign for Millenium home centre, turn left into DUNLOPILLO DRIVE. This is located next to sydneys bedding store. This is a huge lane way and this is where our meet point is.

thanks hope to see you all there.

Here's the website for anyone who wants it: http://www.drivein.net.au

Brad - yep it's in Dromana (133 Nepean Hwy).

LC-069 - you shouldn't struggle to find accommodation around that general area - hit up some search engines. It'd be great to see some new faces coming along.

Its my sisters B'day that weekend, so if she hasnt planned a family dinner or anything I'll be there!

Only problem is, my hatch only has 4" speakers in the kick panels atm, and WILD UC's headlights are only working on High Beam!

So it might be the Ute with a mattress in the back or something! HAHA!! Not sure, will decide last minute

I might rock up to say hello and check some cars out, but won't be going on the cruise.

Pity the LJ never made it to a drive in, which is disapointing cause i had a wicked stereo in that.

its any guess on numbers. last time around 2 years ago we had 55 cars attend.

we have this as an official club run for Eastside Cruisers and Eh car Club, so hopefully you could guarentee 20 cars from both clubs, plus had heaps of good feedback from torrie forum and tuff street car forum. it has clashed with an engagement party in eastside but hopefully we will still get good numbers.

who wouldnt want to come for a cruise on sat, its gonna be kick ass weather!!!

see you all there tomorrow!!!
