Nice pics there HSVGTS :spoton:

Mate, can you tell me what wheels are fitted to the SS in your sig? These look a little like the new wheels being produced by Longbeach. Car looks great.

Cheers

No, I just bought a old set of GTS rims knocked the centres out had them sand blasted and repainted, and then bought 15 chrome outers that take the 14 centres, and that was it.

I dont mind them but its getting harder to buy suitable 15 tyres up this way.

Regards

Ps. Congrats on your new addition to the stable, very nice car.

Thanks, that makes sense, it was the chrome outers that threw me. l like the look of the new Longbeach wheels but l wish they came in 15 or maybe 16". 17" is too big for my tastes.

Looking forward to getting the new beast home :D

Cheers

Lucky for me those that sponsored the car show were not allowed to enter their cars, otherwise my white one would have been in competition with a very unbeatable pink one.

Anyway, It should work this time.

(Worth the effort for the second post though).

If I may borrow the sig from "kaz from adelaide"....DRIVEN NOT HIDDEN.

....Mulgrave Road, Cairns, Sunday, 26/2/06........and I think 8d11p may just be in front of HSVGTS. :D ....

A total blast from the past. BTW, a typical fantastic FNQ event, even the wet season rain stopped for that one day.

Thanks for the photos Andy, you could have at least touched up the pic of the person behind the wheel of the SMP XU1.

GML-31 I put the XU1, A9X and TT GTS in for display only as I organised the event and the NQ Holden V8 Club hosted it for the proceeds. It was an inaugural event and ended up quite successful for everyone involved, it will be an annual event in Cairns from now on.

If I didn't know better, I would say that the same owner owns all 6 ?
( the 2 Xu1's and the 4 SS's ) Perhaps with the exception of the White XU1.

Am I right or am I right?

The bonnet scoop on the first SS looks to be higher/bigger than the others, is this right or is it just caused by the angle of the photo? just curious to know.

Yes, it looks substantially bigger. and is it me or is the last (furthest) Hatch scoopless?
