this was it before i started, i know it looks good, but there was rust and the panels had 10 mm bends in them
as you can see the back window had a fair bit of rust
The previous owner replaced the vinyl roof but didnt seal it and water came straight into the window sill everytime it rained
Resprayed engine bay
This was how it looked around halfway
The blue painted doorways so that i could paint the car when it was all together
Car painted, looks pretty dull but it is acrylic so i rubed it back later and it came up perfect
the engine, 186 with a yella terra head, WW stromberg, mild cam and headers
engine in the car
new carpet and seats rebuilt
vinyl roof glued back down, probably the trickiest job on the car
how it looks now
now that its done, im looking for a Torana, maybe a LJ? and build up a tough 6

That's a factory setup, as you said disc's are boosted.took about 7 months, the booster is a VH-40 or 44, they came standard with the HRs that had the disk brake front end, im pretty sure
I had a factory HR disc setup in my EH wagon and was same, same! incl booster.

i have a new cam installed and its pretty good on torque, goes around 20kmh in top gear
yea i am keeping it for origionality, however the powerglide still performs well around town, gets high rpm on the freeway but i beleive the trimatic has the same ratio top gear so that wouldnt solve the problem
if i was to change the gearbox it would be to a manual anyway, maybe my next car...
