this is my old LH i sold awhile ago i miss her a bit after owning it for 14 years ,i built this car from a bare shell went well with the 327 chev

No shit hey you built that one? Never saw it run with the 327 but its now running a 350 with Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Comp Xtreme Energy solid cam, Victor Jnr, 750 Mighty Demon, 4500 converter etc.

Be interested to see how it goes now compared to before.

Great looking car 1QUICKLJ. Would love to see more pics if you have any. Especially engine bay. What were the engine and driveline specs before you sold it???

hey BOTTLEDUP yep mate thats my old rig sounds like you know the new combo obviously his brought the new gear off you?.LXCHEV the specs were:
327 chev
060 bore
steel crank
TRW f/t pistons
fuellie 291 heads ported by myself
comp xe 274 hyd cam
RPM manifold
600 d/p holley
1 5/8 PACEMAKER pipes (hated them)
twin 2 inch exhaust (too small)
turbo 350 built by me
B&M 2000 stall (way to small)
3.36 gears
made 265 horsepower @wheels
did low 13s pulled a 12.96 with 3.9s once only took it to drags twice
it could have made more power with a few more changes but i lost interest in the car was time to move on, it was just one of those cars i would just do something then something else would fu*k up it was like that for the whole 14 years i owned it just got sick of it? i will scan some pics and put them up in next few days.
would have liked to change a few things:
3000 stall
9 inch diff 3.7 gears
twin 2 1/2 exhaust
roller rockers
&ditch twin piont & fit MSD ign
but never got there ran out of patience and interest YOU GET THAT?

yeah he bought the parts to go onto the existing 327 and it was specced to suit that, then there was a drama of some sort (head bolt threads stripped or something) so he ended up getting a 350 short off Mono... The thing should by rights get into the 11s comfortably, its running 4.11s I think now as well. Gotta say its not a bad rig, tho I'd aim for more comp and if it had been me I'd have gotten the AFR cyl heads.
