hey all, just a small update on my LJ project. i still havent got any pics (sorry) but the interior is MUCH better than i thought it was (last time i listen to my sister...) anyway, apparently the interior is white vinyl, with i small hole in the drivers seat and a bit of sunburn along the top of the back bench. and the dash is all still there, except the fuel guage doesnt work.
what is involved in installing a tacho? i dont want a big autometer 4' job, just somethin small to monitor how much pain the engine is in.
cheers, RIM
Update on my LJ

Do you have a standard dash or GTR/XU1 style with extra guages?
I am guessing standard dash, if this is so, you have to mount a
small aftermarket tacho from any car retailer. Best place I think,
would be bottom edge of dash panel under neath radio. (it is a personal
choice though)
Fuel guages and senders can be picked up from any retailer too, if your
original can not be fixed.

yeah its just the plain stock LJ 'S' dash. GTR dashes had a tacho didnt they?
as for the mounting pos. i still havent seen the car, but when i do ill have a drive in it, and find a position for the tacho that hides it from the outside, but i dont have to take my eyes off the road to read it. im not sure, ill let you know.
