Spotted on 02/01/10 - a very nice looking Metallic Blue LC GTR travelling on Beaudesert Rd, Calamvale while I was up at my mates place in Brissy. Plates were custom 'GTR-069' (i think or at least had 'GTR' on them)

Saw a nice orange torana around the corner from me i got pics and i also saw a nice greenish torana at charlie gardner hospital will upload pics later

saw a bloke at morewell today trying to put a kids scooter into the boot of his lj so went over to give him a shifter to get the wheels of it to get it in and spent the next half hour chattin lol
it was an original gtr xu1 he has had for 16 yrs with a 308 under the hood , he,s plannin on a full rebuild.didnt have a camera and left my phone at home but im sure ill catch up with him again

Should we really be including number plates in this thread?
I'm not sure if it's possible to do a search for 'Torana' under vehicle model at the motor registries but we are making it easier for the crooks with access to rego records to pick out good ones from bad ones.

well yes and no... i used to be conscious about number plates but at the end of day if someone wants to steal it they'll get it... its got just as much chance of driving past someone who could steal it.

Swarbs: thats a Collie car... genuine l32 slr but has a 308 in it... hes an older dude and hes taken it in the burnout comp a couple times...
My spotted for today although i didnt think to take pics... one of my older brothers mates rocked up with his SLR... gen3/6spd conversion with cam/heads etc... brembos with custom rims... 9inch with major suspension work front and rear for track racing... very hot car!

Yeah but how long do you have to drive around the streets before you find a Torana you like the look of?
Come to this forum, if you like one with plates, get your nudge nudge wink wink mate at the RTA to track it down, bingo.
True that first you have to have the mate at the RTA but the criminal types tend to have their ways.
Not that it would ever happen but why give them the chance?

I saw a black 4 dr box driving thru Thornlie this morning on the way to Big Als
He was abit slower than me though so only got a brief look as he was trying to get onto Spencer Rd
Of course I saw a few at Big Als too
