Seen a white LJ driving down the main drag of Goulburn today.

It had XUI rear spoiler and weird looking white number with thin black lettering.

Also on the way home I saw a HX panel van restored to look like the old NRMA road service van.

A fair bit, the receipt was three pages long - highlights being the engine came out to have the bottom end reconditioned and resealed, virtually all the suspension / steering components were replaced.

Licensing requires 19 items to be fixed + we found 8 new ones when the work was done - 23 done so far = 4 items to go ... then it's on the road

Quality of work there was excellent and worth the money, actually. Noting all the items that were replaced or reco'd over the 4-5 weeks it was there, I was only charged 35hours labour ...

Silver LX with all the fruit - AHH-304, I presume heading back to Jerra. Looked ace.

What are the odds of two torries being out at the same time in the same area for a Sunday drive?

Saw an LX hatch convertible yesterday. It was black with a roll bar and it was travelling just west of Coffs Harbour.

I know a few of these were converted years ago but it seems a terrible waste of a hatch. It was still nice.

I've noticed another green SLR with flares in town lately. There aren't many around.

I agree I would be hesitant to do something like that nowadays, but remember a lot of hatches have just been written off or converted into speedway cars. If it's out there being enjoyed by someone, it's getting a better life than a lot of others!

I agree. Better to enjoy it that have it wrecked or worse still rust away in some yard.

Spotto white box Torana in SL/R 5000 warpaint on the back of a tilt tray on Albert St Preston heading south towards Fairfield.
Looked like straight from the paint shop. No lights etc. SL/R 5000 shadowing on the boot spoiler was silver. BIG wheels 18"+?

Spotto a bronze coloured UC hatch in Coffs Harbour on the highway. It had hot wires and looked like a daily driver. Nothing special but it sure stood out amongst the other traffic.

I liked it.
