will the triple CD2's be in the way of the battery, if I put the tray back in the right postion? They have trumpets on the the carbs, don't run big air cleaners. The engine has been out for 2yrs, can't remember much about the car. The battery was in boot and i pulled the old tray off, due to finding a real good one a long time ago. I would like the put battery up front and run triple carbs.

The XU1 had a narrower battery tray so the air cleaners did not foul the battery. I believe the tray was same size as the HB Torana. As to position ????
