I picked up the Torana DVD collection at Big W for $25. This includes the 1970's XU1, A9X and SLR 5000 DVD's.
These retail at Ezy DVD for about $60.

The best part was I got it with money from a work bonus! :spoton:

I got a set and im with josh lost count of how many times ive watched them Probally watched the A9X the Most
and shit thats cheap might get another set to put away for when mine get worn out

The HUGE town I live in doesn't have a BIG W any other stores that people can recommend ! ( The middle eastern dude with his general store had no idea , but he did sell alot of tea towels ! )

I started watching one of them today. Great DVD's.

I will be buying a set for another forum member who does not have access to a Big W, and will probably grab a few extra sets. Its about $5.50 for postage, so if you want a copy, let me know and we can arrange something.

Yep... no Big W here either unless I drive to Hobart. So if there's a spare set, I'd be interested.

FYI I looked on ebay this morning and they're available for about $40 plus postage so that BigW price is cheap!

If you really look around, most on-line shops are asking $60>$70 + P&H (Chevron, HSV etc)

So the $25.00 is dirt cheap, who'ed have thought a huge multi-national organisation like BigW looking after us :blink:

I got mine for $23 with my massive 5% Staff discount. I've watched all of the DVDS and the A9X one was the best. It was a crack up to see my mates old man in the SLR 5000 DVD. I used to hang out at the Queens ave workshop when I was 18 cause I'm friends with Ian Tates son. I had no idea back then of how special the place was.

read this thread this morning and rushed up to Big W at gateways in Perth amd they had never even heard of it. i still had a look anyway but it was my cousin that served me and he had a pretty good look. Oh well, guess i'll be doing a couple of trips around Perth.
