gosh.. have been busy stripping down my LJ front crossmember/suspension for a rebuild.
Anyhow, i have a set of Cobra lowered springs which i was thinking of installing. but hell, after comparing the spring lengths im unsure if i should.
there is 75 mm difference. the ones that came out of the front are just over 300mm, the lowered ones are 225mm

what problems am i likely to encounter, because that seems alot to me.

Mate pretty sure my springs similar to that, I didnt set it up so cant be 100% but my suspension bloke cant believe how compressed my springs are and the ride is really good - stick to corners really well. i think the previous owner had some extra hard custom pedders jobs made up ??

Anyways, as long as she doesnt scrub the tyres out when she's lowered or hit the crossmember on speed humps than you got no worries.

Cheers,
Mick

ahh i see

looking at them side by side, the cobras are thicker and way more compressed. i was thinking, maybe by the time the standard springs are in, they are semi compressed/loaded where as the cobras are heavey duty and dont compress much in the suspension. sooo maybe its not 3inches by the time its all setup compared to the free state. if that make sense.
ahwell ill just see. pretty sure the guy before had them.. cant remember why he took them out though -- doh
