200 series. 220, 240, 260. i think the 180's also fit.

700 series ones won't fit, wrong offset.

How would 2x "space saver" spares go on the front for drag?

Just a thought while we're on the topic.

That is the holy grail we have been searching for...we tried for a comprehensive list in the old forum but I don't think we came anywhere near as good as that list.
Nice work.

Should we start a new thread and pin it or maybe chuck something in the tech articles?

Several of the rims in the above list won't fit due to offset or centre bore problems.

The important thing is that there are several of us who have been there and done that who can correct oversights before they become a problem. Wouldn't want somebody to spend $5K on a second hand PAIR of Ferrari rims and find out they don't fit. And that's for cheap, crappy 16" front ones.

Most old holden wheels will fit the UC fine but if you keep the same stud pattern but go up a size then you may have clearance or scrubbing issues with the tyres.
If you get secondhand wheels ask if they are 'torana' or 'early holden' stud pattern...

i believe these are not suposed to go over about 100km/h....might be a bit dangerous me thinks.

The main reason for the speed limit is 3 x standard and 1 x space saver makes for a very unbalanced car especially in the wet. Obviuosly they are narrower than standard and a lot are not the same rolling circumfrence as standard to the car. The BA or AU (can't remember which) Falcon GT use a standard falcon wheel for spare as the GT wheel won't fit in the spare wheel cavity, but even though the standard falcon wheel is not speed limited on a standard falcon, it is on the GT for the "unbalance" reason. I fitted one the other day on a Merc wagon. It was a black spoked alloy space saver and when I stood back and looked at it, it looked better than the standard alloy. Another car I went to (can't remember the make) the original wheel wouldn't even fit in the boot. It had to go on the back seat. So we have a car with odd wheels and a 15Kg potential projectile on the back seat. How safe is that?

Ever seen what happens to a temp spare tyre under emegency braking? If you lock it up, it blows out. Considering they are a CROSSPLY, it would be very easy to achieve.
