Sorry Mate, Big 3 car show that weekend.

Unfortunately I am not planning on heading down to Victoria anytime soon as I begin my studies again in 2 weeks, but I will try my best for any in the future! Need money first!

But you have your tow car to get you up here quick, you should be right!

"someone shout me the $200 and I would actually bring the torana! (keith? lol tongue.gif )""

Now why would i shout you $200 when i could use it myself & knowing full well that i will
turn up for the meeting. I am not scared to race my stocker & if you come un-stuck there
is 2 walls to bounce off and it wouldn't be the 1st time the wall has had Orange paint on it.

cheers Keith

dont know about fragile, but I dont own the whole thing!

I did some swapping of money I owed my folks over (cheaper then a bank loan) and they now own a fair chunk of my torana and I own a bunch of other stuff instead. So its not a case of me being worried about going racing, its more the fact that mum and ray dont want me to until the loan is paid off.

I never bothered to explain it to anyone before because I could only imagine the comments it would bring, but hey, I'll come clean. I dont own the whole of my torana, I cant race it under normal (read: wednesday nights) because mummy wont let me, yes I have it pretty good with my folks as they offered an interest free loan on something I bought, and I still owe them money on it. It would be similar with the bank, Insurance doesnt cover you if you crash or break something at the track, so I would be paying off something that I wouldnt get any further enjoyment out of....

Once Ive payed off what I owe (planning to use the equity in the house to pay them off if I cant do it before then) I will be more then happy to come out and play :)

but until then, its out of my hands.

So now you know my dirty little secrets :)

What they dont know won't hurt them Chris! 2 weeks time you will be in your own house, doing your own thing! They wont have a clue what you are doing with your car!

He will be sitting on milk cartons in the lounge room with the tv on the floor with rabbit ear aerial on it eating his 2 minute noodles haha. I know how expensive it is to buy a House as we are trying to get back on our feet and do the same thing.. But congrats on the house anyway!! :)

Thanks Josh.

We have a tonne of furniture, weve been buying things like crazy for the last couple months, christmas helped too.

But yeah, its going to be a bit tight for a while, but we sat down and did the sums and figured it was more then do-able.

Well we all know this but place this in your mind, you don't have to thrash
the crap out of the car just go out & have fun. So if you take it easy the
chances of wrecking or crashing will be very slim. And once you get your
confidence up it wouldn't be long before you will be pulling 18 second 1/4's

hahahaha

cheers Keith

BUMP! So are we working something out or not Sydneysiders!? I am all for a track day and would love a GMH-Torana dy, but my financial status doesnt like it at the moment, but it will be right. A Wednesday night would be great too as the last one was fantastic!

Who likes which event (Street meet/track day)?
Who likes which date?

So no-one wants the April day anymore? Or should I just start a thread for the 8th of April and let no-one have an input of the day, keep it as a Wednesday night rather than a track day and get people to add to the list?

I havent chosen a date because i cant commit at the moment.

My situation with work and now doing the TAFE course means that while i do have wednesday nights free, that's the only night in the week i DO have off ( other than friday).
It's really difficult for me to commit.

Again, I'm more than happy to organise the lane again through John Henman, and even if i dont make it out there, ensure the others have a top night!

I'd prefer you guys to choose a night, and i'll organise it and do my best to be there for some more fun!

Cheers
