indeed... worth looking at then might be good ratios in them.
Most are 2.92's. Some 3.23's and 3.5's around, but they are pretty sought after.

The old Valiant diff although still a BW, will be even wider, 2-pinion, 25-spline & drum brakes. Not worth the effort.

fair enough.. ill find out wat i can. if any bits are worth any $ ill sell em cos its jus a cash cow. the diff was ok for the 10 mins i drove it.. didnt get to do a burnout.. lol. ill find wat i can off the tags an stuff.
The tag should be on the right side of the diff hat, if it is still there. It will have the ratio on it, as well as the part #. If it is the original diff with the car, then it will possibly be 3.5 or 3.23 as the utes tended to use those. Again, if it is the original diff, and is a LSD, then the compliance plate on the plenum will have stamped in the options D52, D53 or D56 depending on the ratio. Otherwise, jack the rear and see if the wheels both spin the same way. If you want to sell it, advertise on www.moparmarket.com You will get rid of it fairly easily if it is 3.23 or 3.5 gears.
