I dont even drive a torana but i have been given the opatuinty to race on saturday and i cant say how much i am looking forward to the day more in particular showing a certian member of this forum my tail lights hey Pete

I am bringing out a VC commenhore but ii am still working out gremlins as for showing tail lights its a long running joke between me and Torana308 we have been friends for a long time so it a bit of fun between us guys feel free to join in and play guys

Out of courtesy to everyone else I will not be exposing you all to my UC tail lights. I wouldnt want anyone to lose concentration and have a run in with a concrete wall. It thinks only fair really.

hahaha the trike might go faster than the Commodore, Unless you did borrow that gas kit. Hmmmm might have to look round for a few spare turbos at work tomorrow. Do you think the one that is the diameter of my arm will do it???
When you see the Commodore and my Torana line up, I hope you stand right at the line for a front row seat to the skids BigT. Gotta show this Commodore how it is done. Hope I will have my gremlins evicted by saturday, If not I will be going through a set of tyres that day for sure.

Mr Auto sparky man (Mark from Old Skool Auto Electrical) arrived this arvo in a very nice 50 something chev truck to fix the UC. It now starts and runs so fingers crossed it actually gets more than 100 metres down the road without dying. Hopefully there will be a blur of UC tail lights on Saturday and I might even try Kevs suggestion of doing a run in reverse !!
Trophies are done and will be at work tomorrow. Prizes are being delivered on a daily basis. We now have 5 cars from the Monaro Club joining us plus few extras including a rotary or two. All up around 40 cars which is perfect. Weather forecast for Saturday is the possibility of a shower or two which has sort of got me nervous but not freaking out just yet.
If anyone is bringing a digital camera can you bring the computer cable for it as well? I will have a laptop setup to load your photos onto so we can get them posted up here nice and quick. I might even get hold of a wireless modem for live up dates to GMH-T during the day.
I will be at the gates at 1:30pm gathering driver and car details and handing out all the forms etc. QTCC are meeting at Maccas Goodna at 12:30 for a 1ish departure to the track if anyone is keen.
Gates will open at 2pm and racing kicks off at 2:30pm. I hope to have everyones details recorded by then with a group photo in the staging lanes just before 2:30pm. We will race for the next two hours and at 4:30pm all times etc will be finalised for the trophy presentation which will occur at 5pm near the kiosk. If you want to keep racing after 4:30pm you certainly can but for the trophies etc the cut off is 4:30pm.
To make it easier for people to find me if they need to, I will be wearing a yellow XXXX Beach Cricket polo shirt with "BIG T" written across the back. I figure this will be the most visible way to locate me.
Remember to bring sunscreen, a hat and sunnies as there isnt too much shade at the track. If you want to commentate, you are quite welcome to and please, when someone does a sick burnout, half track wheelstand or kills a diff or engine CHEER LOUDLY. The crowd reaction will go a long way to determining the winner of some of the trophies !!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tiny, Steve (mumstaxi), pallbag, boomfunk (C&G Auto Upholstery), Rare Spares and everyone who is coming along to compete or spectate for making this day happen. Also big thanks to Faro308 for sowing the seed !! Without everyones commitment and enthusiasm this day would just be another idea and not a reality.
Im excited !!!

Our route will take us along the Logan Motorway, this is a Toll road so please bring $2 or your E-Toll for the Toll.

Hahaha boost at idle, We actually have one in the display at work that may be smaller than that. If I fit the Coke can won't that give me foollii sik points though?? I mean with twin cup holders I could fit two Coke cans for double the power.
