Sounds good mate, let us know what you find price and availabilty wise, I bought a new Hight Torque Starter through Cooldrive in early Dec 08( a Jalec one) it was suposedly a direct bolt onto 308 Red Motor but kept getting stuck on my flexplate teeth!? so I had to put the old starter back on. I keep forgetting to ring the regarding this!, seems like it needs shims on the StarterCooldrive sell them,im not sure if joe average of the street can buy from them or not.If you real keen on them i can check at work tomoz as i have an account with them.

I have a new purchased 2008 SPAL fan controller for sale. The latest version of the SPAL controller is V3 which has a detachable wiring harness. My version looks the same but the wiring harness is permantly attached to the controller. I can not see any reason why they would not work with the AU fans. If you want to buy the latest version then you can try calling Glen at Browns Radiators (08) 9451-8093 or you can buy online here. Freight will be around USD $30 via USPS.Ive been eyeing off the Spal Fan Controllers,I can find no distributer of these in Australia though and are Expensive: anyone know if the SPAL Controller will work with my AU FANS??:still havent sorted out my AU FAN wiring yet either! the sparky the wired them up did it wrong and they come on when trying to crank the motor if the Collant temps hot.
The AU Fans draw heaps of power!!,its very noticeable when driving along and they start up= maybe my Alternators not big/good enough( standard 308 alt).............
You should also look at getting an 80A+ alternator.
