Just wondering if anyone has had dealings with Pollyworld in N.S.W. , I am about to order my lc xu1 door trims but just wondering if I could get any feedback from anyone that may have had dealings with them, even better if you have had door trims made.

that would be the place, I have just had the details read to me over the phone by a friend that is also going to order from them and as they don't seem to have a web site with nice pictures (that anyone can take I know) but it does at least give you something that you are to expect in an order, a reasonable idea of a level of quality to be expected.
I just have a low trust level when it comes to sending money away for something that hasn't been seen or can't be found on the internet, for all I know it could be a spare room in someones house, I am hoping to get verification its not a theme park full of clowns or a stockyard of watertanks.
If we go ahead I will certainly let you all know the outcome with no hesitation
Thanks

They make the trims that are sold through Rares outlets. I've seen some of their old Holden work and its first class.

Do a search on Google for Polyweld and see what others have said. Feedback seems to be that quality is good but there was some discussion regards slow turnaround.

Well very sadley I now believe that Rodomo is correct with his interpretation of pollyworld in my opinion,, They told us 3 to 4 weeks and understandably it may be a bit longer but from February 2009 to now October, we have been told about a month ago that the trims were just waiting for carpet and then the last call he couldn't get the correct vynal so virtually nothings done,,, I guess when things sound to good to be true it is usually the case,
Now we begin again looking for the right place to get them done,, im so annoyed,, why can't people just tell it how it is instead of leading you on with false hope, the art of customer satisfaction and honesty in business operation I think is just about extinct.

seems to be the case, though i found a really good mechanic who got a lil offended i kept checkin to see wat was doin lol. there are too many stories of this type its rediculous. people want what they want and they want it now but business owners cant always do it straight up, but what do businesses expect to happen by sayin "yeah couple of weeks she'll be right" then taking months or doin a shit job? surely it will just get them punched... i know i still feel i owe a few late night visits with a bat for bad jobs. annoys the shit outa me. rant over.

hi, just an update on how i went with my door trim's. Steve at Cools, got it all soughted out for me.
very happy with them picked them up today, he's 100% honest and genuine bloke recommended at the highest level. just for the record the delay on my trims had nothing to do with Cools.cheers colin.

why can't people just tell it how it is instead of leading you on with false hope, the art of customer satisfaction and honesty in business operation I think is just about extinct.

because as I have just found out if you are in business and are completely honest and tell the customer exactly what it will cost and how long it will take, they just go to the shonky bloke who tells them what they want to hear, even though it usually ends up costing more and taking longer in the end.

I lost one customer because a competitor came back to them with a house at $100,000 less than they had already quoted and guaranteed it would be ready in 3 months. It ended up taking over a year, cost over $750,000 and there was heaps of problems with it. My original quote was $500,000 and 6 months to build, which would have been done in 6 months for $500,000 but the lying cheating business got the job anyway. I also lost 3 customers to builders who were asked to quote on complete homes using my building system. All 3 of them overquoted on my system so they could then quote on their own system to win the entire job. There is no honesty in business.
