Just got back from the Wheels 06 Car Show in Canberra (drove up from Wodonga - 8hrs all up there & back in 34 degrees heat over 2 days) - struth what a drive in the LX SLR 5000, didn't miss a beat though but what an awesome day it was. Never been to Canberra before & what a beautiful city it is. Gerry (RedSlur) from the Canberra Torana Club talked me into going & I'm glad he did. 600 odd cars from all eras on the front lawns of Old Parliament House. If you go to the Canberra Torana Club website & click on the club runs (Wheels 06) you'll see the choice photos.
Thoroughly enjoyed myself & was well worth the trip - the Canberra Torana Club made me feel most at home. Special thanks to the above torrie head (RedSlur) for going out of his way.
The club is one of the best around & I was very impressed with its layout. Thanks again for making me feel welcome & I look forward to the clubs next big run.
