on my LX, it has a 308's rochester 4 barrel carb, oh and a 308's manifold (so i have been told) the amount of air that gets into the motor is massive, the engine idles at around 900 - 1,000rpm, and thats even with NO idle screw LOL, but the power, OMG, mines just a stock 253 with the 4 barrel rochester and manifold, and my mate couldnt reach the glovebox when i floored it.
now thats some power, but i havnt touched the setting on it besides the idle screw
Sounds broken, and your mate needs to go to the gym
Cheers.
