Can anyone tell me what the factory colour of LH SLR and L34 bonnet hinge springs are? I've seen as few on cars that look factory and they are a browny yellow type colour. I'm keen to paint mine the correct colour so a code or name of the colour would be a great help.
Are there differences between the colours on SLR, L34 and A9X?

there are a few variations, some nickle zink, some cad, and some cars were painted. Some even had plated hinges but a yellow / buff painted springs. If you go any of these you will be ok depending on the model . I'd go nickel zinc for LH SLR

I've also got a pile of parts that I'm about to get re-plated.
Can you tell me if the bonnet striker and the locking mechanism also plated with nickel/zinc on LH SLR?
Just out of interest the wiper motor housing looks to be cadmium plated originally. Mine looks worn after 30 years or so in the engine bay but not sure if I can get that re-plated as the housing has magnets mounted/riveted inside? Tried Repco to see if they sell the complete Lucas units new but that was a longshot and they dont sell them.

Ok,
now I am confused...
Can you tell me what plating was used on the following for an LX SS Torana?
Bonnet Hinges,
Bonnet Striker (on the Bonnet),
Bonnet Lock (on the body),
Wiper motor,
and anything else that might have been "Plated"..

I have also seen plenty of variation in the SS model as with all LX.
Bonnet Hinges are usually zinc plated with machinery grey enamel on the springs. I personally like all Cad plated.

Retaining bolts for wiper motor, zinc
Retaining plates for battery, zinc.
Clips along radiator support cad plated
Engine loom clip on thermostat housing, cad plated.
