man, if you spend this muc time to make somehting that you love and want to run fast, i say you just have to take it down he quarter.have you run it down the quarter yet ?

do heaps of runs, start off by doin an 18s or something, then slowly give her some more "go Juice".
im sure you will be able to handle your baby when you eventually do some good times.
but dude, dont waste all your efforts. in my oppinion, you have more chance of crashing your car on the road then on the strip.
and dont be like someone i know, spent 70K on a rana and he still hasnt run it down. the tyres he bought for it dont leave blackies anymore coz the rubber is so old on em.
HAVE FUN WITH IT

You gotta give it a run down the quarter man!! I know I'll be shitting m'self when I do the same in my UC (I wont be running anything near 10's thats for sure) but I still gotta give it a go at least once.
Hope you dont mind but I cleaned up a photo for ya.
Love the blurred action shot photo, very nicely done.
Cheers,
Big T

What weight springs are you running in the rear? Quite often when they are taily like that, its usually cos the rear end isnt working effectively (or enough). Most of the good drag setups I've seen allow for good weight transfer, so the car can put its power down coming off the line. I assume you are running a nine inch, I'd be checking to make sure things arnt binding up as the suspension moves through its range of travel.. (Put it on stands with the diff unweighted, take the springs out and use a jack to check) Is there enough clearance under the guards for the suspension to work without the tyres hitting things?

Ass up is too unsprung, when your launching its raising the rear in the air more instead of into the ground as your control arms are already pointing upwards instead of level/downwards.
If your want it too hook its got to put the power into the ground. Needs to be lowered heaps more in the rear with the factory 4 link setup.
I know its fun wheel spinning 3rd gear, but its not fun if a little 2L chops you cos u can't get it too hook.
