if i wasnt hassled by being pulled over so much for very consistant random checks i would still be driving mine as a dailyAh this old thread has been dug up again... well since late last year this is my genuine daily driver.... again!
6.3 litre Chev, it makes the daily commute to work much more pleasant! It's funny, this car was my daily for many years, then it became a weekender for several years. Every so often it would return to daily duties again, and now that my hatchback is off the road, once again, I'm back to where I started.
The looks from people, the thumbs-up, the conversations at traffic lights or servo's.... you simply can't beat it.
I have to admit though, even though I live relatively close to work, it still takes its toll on the car. But I'd rather wear it out than not use it. A big part of me is seriously considering replacing the 383 for a stock 350, and convert to gas. Then I can turn my hatchback into a wild animal weekender.... just ideas though...
PS. I know it's hard these days and not always practical, but there is a serious lack of daily driver Torana's in this thread!!!!!
dont get rid of the stroker keep the hatch as a daily 4doors are better anyway
