I wrecked my front spoiler reversing in an unpaved car park that was uneven.

It was a 2 piece but I think I will replace it with a lower profile one piece SL/R one.

Does anyone know where I may purchase these in Sydney?

I remember a shop going by the name of G S or something in Kogarah I think that did fibreglass parts.

I take it you are talking the LX SL/R or SS variety, not as low, and only shallow brake duct inlets.

I have a one piece LH/A9X type. Personally, I would not replace it with a one-piece as it is not a good fit. When/if I break it, I'm going to go the 2 piece route.

I have an LX and I know of the SS type and don't particularly like the look of them - too thin.

Were these fitted to LX SL/R's?

I previously had a one piece, then wrecked that over a cattle grid so went a 2 piece - it came in handy when I wrecked one piece of it and replaced only the one peice instead of both.

I don't know if the original one piece was smaller in height than the two piece but it wasn't the thin SS type spoiler.

Steve, when you find out where to get 'em, can you PM me please?

I need a one peice SS type.

YELLA, dont forget your yellow cousins when you swap!! I'm either
going to get a new fibreglass onepiece or try and fix my original.
The bits left over from your busted two piece might be able to be
canibalised on mine!!!

Did you say yours was already busted? LOL

Thanks for the email Stephen. I rang them and they will sell a 2 piece
for $126.00 which I think is really reasonable.

Dont do the 1 piece though.

Thanks for the contact though.

LX SL/R wouldn't have had a front spoiler, but yes the LX SL/R 5000 had the same as the SS front spoiler.

Yella's front spoiler ---> you wouldn't want it. Was going to put it on the race hack, but it's not going to have flares, so you might be in luck. Just don't aske me when, car is still out of bounds in the wife's eyes (castle duties persist).

LX SL/R wouldn't have had a front spoiler.

I'm tempted to leave it as original without a front spoiler - saves me replacing it again in the future and I can drive easier without always having to think about clearance issues.

Anyone got some pics of good number plate placement on SL/R's?

Contact torana05
or go to www.miltonperformance.com

I looked into LX SS front spoilers a while back and I believe they have the 1 piece ones here.
They are in Brisbane.

Cheers

I have just fitted a single piece front A9x style spolier I got from Torana05.

At first I was swearing and cursing but after bending a couple of tabs where the nosecone joins the rad support (and bolts the spolier on) it fitted like a champ - Really happy with it and I now have a spolier without the fundamental flaw that the weakest point is right where it is going to hit things.

Anyone want a free 2 piece one in red? It's just missing a couple of mounting tabs - otherwise in the bin it goes.

Has it got the returns cut off for flares? Even if it doesn't, get posting champ, and I'll get one with returns for the hack. At this rate we'll be calling the car the ex-Toranamat special.
