Thanks heaps HB 1200 for sharing the info, the engine pic of the GTR engine is interesting, no rocker cover sticker, and return spring on the battery tray, does the kit have any dates on it?

Thanks for the interest Guys. I'll put up the rest of the slides soon including all of the descriptions and titles etc.

I'll tell you a bit about where my brother found this dealer kit, it will send chills down your spine.

An old Holden dealership where my brother worked was doing renovations. The store rooms where all this kind of stuff was kept were getting turned into office space. These rooms had new and used promotional material for all the models from day dot. The management simple decided to throw it all away. My brother grabbed this torana kit out of the skip during his smoko break. I hate to even think how much awesome stuff was dumped. The dealership just didn't put the same value on this sort of memorabelia as we do.

It might pay to check your local dealership and see what they have.

I can relate to that. I purchased an immaculate Hatch Hutch complete with poles and light switch. It had been handed in at our local recycling centre. At least someone had the foresight to find out what it was.

Hey, did anyone notice the big nut master cylinder?

I seem to remember alot of people flogging them off on ebay as XU-1 only master cylinders but here we have the proof that the humble lc gtr had them all along.

Go you good thing :spoton:
