heya guys
got my boarg warner and now its time for a tailshaft.
at the moment ive got a 6cyl tailshaft, lol,
i really should start by getting a 1 piece v8 tailshaft from a 1 tonna or sumthing like that?
will any end tailshaft piece from any commi with a boarg warner (8 or 6) fit up to myne if i get it cut and put onto myne?
Shouldnt have to pay 2 much for it eh?

thanks guys!!

yeah mate, one way is to get a tonner shaft and a commy diff end, or you coudl get a full commy shaft...should be long enough. that or get the ends you need and get a cusso shaft made up like im intending on doing.

For BW equiped Commodores, the tailshaft uni's are the same. Which are the same as HQ V8 uni's.

How about a ford t/shaft off a ea/b,bolts up to b/w diff,3in diameter & you just get it shortened+fitted with your slip yoke.Only problem is you might have clearance problem on lh/x maybe,on a lc/j you will have a problem for sure.Someone else might know for certain.

all i did for my bw & rb30 conversion was give both yokes to gj drivelines, and the measurement from the back of gearbox to face of diff flange. $250 later i have tailshaft with biggest unis they could fit in there. took less than a day too...
