At this stage there running on saturday (6th june) at 1.30, 1.45 & the final at 4.05, but this may change due to enteries not closed until 15th of may, then it will depend on entry levels , but it should still be during saturday arvo some time,
I'll keep an eye on the schedule & let you know of any changes.

Or to look at this question another way, I reckon they'll run high 10's.
Earlier this year, Steve Richards' current spec FPR car ran 11.80 @ 216kph (134mph!!) on a slippery track.

I think the biggest problem will be how much clutch slippage they need to get off the start line, willowbank surface at the winternationals can be a killer on a good day ?

At the recent tin tops the start line was that sticky on our 1st qualifier it bogged the car down on the launch, the 60' was a poor 1.644, i had to lift our launch rpm by an extra 800rpm up to 4000rpm & add an extra 1/2 ponud to the tyre pressure on the 2nd qualifier the 60'was back up to a respectful 1.499

They both ran a 10.8, couldn't see the mph through the crowd.

Thanks sloshy. Impressive times I reckon, given the intended purpose of a V8 Supercar.

Cheers, H

wow 10.8 with a missed shift! 135MPH is good for 9s if they had the right gearing.
