It has Begun.... I'm uploading the files as we speak... Click em to see em! There's over 100Mb all in all, and ive also got all files in full DVD quality AVI as well.

These Files Average 2-8Mb with the Burnout ones being larger

Tiny, I don't know how you do it mate, but you've out-done yourself yet again!!!! Great vids, very cool to watch, and much appreciated! I didn't see several of those passes, so awesome to watch em now! What a great burnout from coupe202, that was pretty special. And I didn't realise that Lostit ran so quick on the day - an 11.6, I believe that would make him the fastest overall car??? Was that his best run? Fantastic stuff. Thanks again Tiny, champ!

My pleasure on taking and organising the videos everyone! THanks for the kind words!

Brett: Yeah i belive that Denis (Lostit) may have run the best of the day.. it was definitly either him or Coupe202... Either way it was good to see some tough drag cars out!

I dont know if you heard it on the videos, but Denis lost a gearbox on the day... He knew it was a worry but it really let go on him on that last pass! ( i belive it was when he raced deb??). Unfortunately he didnthang around to see the almighty burnouts!

Anyhow, Once again sorry for not getting MORE video ( Especially of the Critta - MYLJ, Winner of the DYO bracket and i didnt get any video cause i was helping in the time card booth!!)

Cheers everyone!

Whoever the hell was driving Rick's car is absolutely amazing.

He's the Phantom Rocket, visiting Australia from overseas (olympics,.. yawn), he's had lot's of practice Heath. It's a pity he came late coz he could've raced my car in the grudge matches and possibly got a 13.5 or something, but the racing all finished up at 3:15 or so. Everytime he races someones (or I should say ANYONE's) car he always manages to knock off some time in the ET.

We really shoulda got a video of Rick opening the radiator up a few minutes later though... phahahaha

I wasn't gonna wait all day for it to cool down. Just pop the cap open and run like hell while it volcanoe erupts into the air. :D

I knew I should've fitted those twin fans, it would've helped.

Anyway, thanks heaps tiny & LXCHEV for all the effort you guys put into organising this event.

tiny, the video footage is excellent. And I would like to say now that your representation, leadership and guidance of the forums is fantastic mate and I think this place would be pretty boring without your participation. Three cheers for tiny:

I also would like to thank everyone else who attended and made it a ripper of a day, and making it all happen.  :spoton:

KNOATH: I'm very impressed with the shirts mate, top job! :spoton:

At the end of the day, I didn't want to go home, but I did anyway and got home at about 2AM Sunday Morning, still buzzin. :D
...And woke up Sunday with burnt rubber smell still in my nose.

Hey Tiny,

the footage is awesome, i did have some trouble with my computer playing them, but now im saving them all so there working a treat. It was kool to see my brunout from a different perspectative, and im wrapped with how much smoke she put out in first gear, but i just got to down pat those doeys and me a locker. So yeah thanks simmo for the footage, its gonna help me out heaps. I think your footage will help a fair few newbies on the day to improve so good on ya guys for getting the footage you did.

Ferg.. I'm PROUD to say i'm guilty as charged! I inhaled like a columbian at a talc factory ;)

*Love the smell of rubber in the morning...*

Steve: That's the total of the footage that i got for the day mate, My appologies to the cars that i missed, I was trying to be reasonmably fair and get some footage of all teh cars but it was very difficult! I dont know if anyone else may have gotten some footage?

Rick: Thanks mate, While Brett and I got the day organised, it wouldnt have happened without the help and support of all the members, and as i said at the beginning of the day, thank you ALL for turning up! You all made the day what it was! Thanks for the thoughts and comments mate.

Deb: It was great to see your car again especially as i know youve been having some hassles with it for a while now! You did REALLY well in it and it was awesome to see it being given some stick! Especially in the burnout! You did a TOP job especially for your first go! Glad you liked simmo's handywork with the camera, cant wait to see your skid at easternats hey ;)

Thanks again to everyone for making it such a top day... we will have to organise another one! We'll give everyone (me) some time to repair cars and get other's completed and get back out for some more fun.

Cheers!
