I think the problem with the drag day, is that he would be towing his commodore home with his torana is he tried to make it up towing the torana with his VT lol

Heard motor was scrapped and went with a 186 and column shift. Care to speculate?

I would rather drive a ford, than put a 6cyl in this car!

I've been busy absolutely LOVING driving the car around! I put almost 200km's on it yesterday.

I went on the Annual Maroondah Dam Cruise with the Victorian Torana Club, it's always an awesome run and a perfect way to put some K's on the new donk... After Lunch at the Dam, I went on a bit of a Cruise with MR5000 before head off up the back of Silvan to catch up with another mate and take them for a spin...

I'm super happy with how the car now handles on the road after re-building the front end, steering and suspension! It's not really easy to drive!!! Wish I did it earlier!!!!

The power from the new engine is just awesome as well, I haven't given it WOT yet, probably at best 70% and it just lights up the rear wheels then throws me into the back of my seat!!! I can't wait to have it tuned and really open it up!!! HAHAHA!!!

Anyway, here is a shot of the car yesty at my mates place!

Hey matt looks really good glad to hear your happy with it but i notice your breathers on the rocker cover are not plumbed to a breather i would get some hose on the and run them into a bottle sort of like a bong !! and drill some holes in the lid for a temporary fix other wise when you get into it its going to make a huge mess

^^ Ahh thats a good idea for a temporary fix, I am currently designing up what i need for a permanent catch can system, but something like you suggest will be perfect for the time being. Thats Lee!

Hoping that the weather is good again tomorrow night! Planning on taking the Torana down to my Car Club Meeting down the road!

Mate's with him thru Gav from back in the days of warlord engines, and then helped him out on the chev truck! and yea just a top bloke who has helped me out a bit n vice versa!
And his family is great too, i think justin is part of the furniture there now haha dont think ive ever been there with out justin showin up haha
