Get up this morning, go for the morning walk with the dogs, come home to find the back passenger door on the cruiser smashed in. All for the sake of a few travel books that we keep in a bag that hangs of the headrest of the seat. Wankers. I was only out for 1 hour If only I could have caught em in the act. When I saw the glass on the ground my first thought was that it was from the torana.

What a bunch of c&*ts....I don't like hearing these sorts of stories.
Years ago I walked to my car (Datsun1600...mmm, fun) and noticed the pass side door ajar, nothing taken, no damage, prob looking for cash.... but it still irks you dunnit?
Lucky I didn't have to replace a window though....chin up, hopefully the next car they get into has got a fvcken great big Rotty in it!!!!

At least the window tint sorta held all the glass together. Not too much of a mess to clean up

Must have thought there was something of value in the bag, but just looking into the window you could see it ws only full of books. It was that full that the top of it couldnt shut so it was obvious what was in it

You still need to replace the glass though.

That sucks. Sorry to hear about it mate, glad it wasnt the torry!

My torana got broken in to at the local train station one evening when simmo was using it to get to the train... THey knocked off my stereo ( old kenwood head unit), all the change in the console and thats about it...

Lucky for me.. they knew how to slim jim old cars.. they unlocked the back door without any damage!

Still puts a big ball of ice in your stomach when you realise what's happened.

Cant wait till i spot a theif...

I'd like to see that to mate, I don't think you'd need to do anything, the thief would just see you then start crying like a baby, lol :D

Shev:

Shane: That really sux man :( Ive often thought about sticking a sheet of paper on the rear windows saying :

"Dont bother breaking in.. There is nothing of value kept in this car since the last low life scum broke in and took it all."

Often considered it.. never done it though...

My mum used to leave a note on the car saying "nothing left so stop breaking in" when she parked at home. She also used to leave the glovebox open so you could see nothing was in it.

It had 3 locks and a couple of windows needing repairs after each break in.

Mind you it was also this car that was stolen from near the casino in Melb.
