i searched the forum last night.
i came up with rodeo part number #8994801920.it sounded like that was for the nut on the outside of the window ?
i have one of thoose anyway on order for holden now $6 each
hyundia and clark rubber are a 5 min walk from my house.i now have two hyundia ones on order now for $3 each.
ill see whats best and order more.stay tunned

the results are;
rodeo ones are $6 each part number 8944801920

hyundia ones are $3 each part number 8793421001

the hyundia ones fit the outside nut perfectly

the rodeo ones dont fit outside nut so perfectly

the hyundia ones dont fit the glass hole so perfectly

the rodeo ones fit the glass hole perfectly

i think im going to use 1 of each.rodeo on the outside(this may seal the window hole better ?) and hyundia on the inside,or the other way around.i havent fullt decided yet.

I thought that I would bump this back up and get an idea if there is a demand for these grommets that fit correctly.
I too have tried the "Rodeo" version and I find it very hard to do up the screws due to the thickness of the grommets.
So, the plan is to remake these from scratch and have them available as a kit (12 per kit).
I can tell you now, they will not cost $6.00 ea!!
cheers

It maybe that I look at remaking the whole thing from scratch as well.
The grommets should be a goer, I am just waiting on the costs..

Thanks Datts
Glad you like the Shirt..
I am looking at an M5 x 8 or 10mm screw size. It's the closest size to the original and repalcement of the screws will be alot easier.

Hi Chris
I would like to see them.. being 2mm Shorter did that cause any greif in getting it all together?
Would like to know what you actually ordered and where from too..
In some of this stuff it's easier to start from scratch due to the odd ball sizes that GM used..
cheers
